Qu'est-ce que tu as mangé hier ? (2023) — Namur cultural centre (CCN) — Namur, BE

Another project focusing on food habits and social cohesion was Qu'est-ce que tu as mangé hier ?, developed in acollaboration with the Namur cultural centre (CCN).

'I don't eat during a full moon.' — 'We participate in Ramadan to feel the hunger of others. In place of those who don't eat at all.' —  'On friday, it's fish.'

Renée and Erien approached residents and passers-by with a simple question: 'What did you eat yesterday?'. They invited participants to cook with them in their mobile cooking island, interviewed and photographed them. The installation was set up at the intersection of the local community center, a social housing block, and the Institut Technique de Namur across the street, reaching varied audiences. 

The project culminated in a large-scale exhibition presented at the CCN.
