During the period of one month and a half, we visited Square Jordens, Saint-Gilles, Brussels, every week. Here we shared soup with the local residents of the social housing block. During these moments, we photographed the residents, collected their favorite soup recipes which we prepared for them the following weeks. We drew soup vegetables together on paper with the children of the neighborhood!
Soupah! became a photo newspaper with soup stories and recipes for and from residents around Square Jordens in Saint-Gilles with an accompanying exhibition at the social housing block.

Anderhalve maand passeerden we wekelijks de sociale woningblok Square Jordens in Sint-Gillis, Brussel. Hier verzamelden we de favoriete soeprecepten van buurtbewoners en fotografeerden hen intussen. We dronken samen soep met recepten die we de week voordien van hen te horen kregen. Met de spelende kinderen uit de wijk tekenden we de soepingrediënten!
Soupah! werd een fotokrant met soepverhalen en -recepten voor en van bewoners rond Square Jordens in Sint-Gillis met een bijhorende expositie aan de sociale woningsblok.

Pendant un mois et demi, nous sommes passés chaque semaine devant l'immeuble de logements sociaux Square Jordens à Saint-Gilles, à Bruxelles. Nous avons recueilli ici les recettes de soupe préférées des habitants du quartier en les prennant en image. Nous avons bu de la soupe ensemble avec les recettes qu'ils nous avaient données la semaine précédente. Avec les enfants du quartier qui jouent, nous avons dessiné les ingrédients de la soupe !
Soupah! est devenu un journal photo avec des histoires de soupe et des recettes par et pour les habitants du Square Jordens, avec une exposition dans l'immeuble.
