Renée and Erien engage in artistic dialogues with single mothers living in Cité Modèle in collaboration with asbl Cité Modèle in ... sur un fil tendu. 

What does it mean to be a single mother? What is the invisible work the mothers do every day? Stories emerge from conversations over a hearty breakfast. The mothers co-create words that they embroider on fabric, which ends up on a loom, a tapestry of shared moments. 

All impressions – poetry distilled from recorded conversations, embroidery, knitting and photographic imprints – are incorporated into a textile work as a final presentation at the cultural centre accompanied with a self-published publication to give to the mothers as a souvenir.
