CUP OF TEA?
December 2023, in collaboration with municipality Sint-Gillis, Sint-Gillis

After Soupah! we returned to Square Charles Jordens in Saint-Gilles, Brussels. This time we came with tea and hot drinks to warm up the coldest days between Christmas and New Year. We listened to- and photograph the stories and tea traditions of people living around the block. We took new collected recipes each time.

Cup of Tea? is a photo newspaper with soup stories and recipes for and from residents.

Na Soupah! keerden we terug naar Square Charles Jordens in Sint-Gillis, Brussel. Deze keer passeerden we tijdens de koudste dagen met thee en warme dranken tussen kerst en nieuwjaar. We luisterden naar de verhalen en thee tradities van buurtbewoners rond het sociale woningblok en fotograferen hen. We namen telkens nieuwe verzamelde recepten mee.

Cup of Tea? is een fotokrant met theeverhalen en -recepten voor en van bewoners.

Après Soupah! nous sommes retournés au Square Charles Jordens à Saint-Gilles. Cette fois-ci, nous y avons servi du thé et des boissons chaudes pour réchauffer les jours les plus froids entre Noël et Nouvel An. Nous avons écouté et photographié les histoires et les traditions de thé des habitant·es du quartier. Nous avons pris de nouvelles recettes collectées à chaque fois.
